Amendments to Companies Registration of charges Rules

New Rule:

Companies (Registration of charges) Second Amendment Rules 2022

Notification details:

The central government has issued a notification dated 29th August 2022, making an amendment adding a new Rule 13 to the existing Companies (Registration of Charge) Rules 2014.

The rule provides that the following e-forms relating to charge on assets, shall in case of companies that are under resolution or liquidation, shall be mandatorily signed by Insolvency Resolution professional, or Resolution professional or liquidator, as the case may be and duly filed with the registrar.

Forms:
  1. CHG-1(creation or modification of charge-other than debenture issues)
  2. CHG-9 (creation or modification of charge in debenture issue)
  3. CHG-4 (intimation of Satisfaction of charge)
  4. CHG-8 (Application for condonation of delay with CG)
